Our visit to Ooty was a dream come true. The serene landscapes of the Nilgiris, combined with the charming colonial architecture of the Stone House and St. Stephen’s Church, made for a picturesque retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The Botanical Gardens were a riot of colors, and the boat ride on Ooty Lake at sunset was magical. However, the highlight was the heritage Nilgiri Mountain Railway train ride, offering stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Every aspect of the trip, from our cozy stay at the Taj Savoy Hotel to the leisurely pace of the itinerary, was tailored for relaxation. Ooty, with its cool climate and warm people, was the perfect end to our South Indian tour.
