You can then enjoy your stay at Mysore Zoo with its rare species of wildlife. Afterward, visit Mysore Palace – one of the top tourist attractions in Mysore. If that isn’t enough for you, visit Brindavan Gardens (KRS) topped by an imposing arc of light and water that entertains viewers each evening. Please return to your hotel afterward, where you will spend the remainder of the day and night.

Day 02 : Mysore - Coorg

In the morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and visit Chamundi hills. You’ll get divine blessings from Chamundeshwari temple and after that, head to Coorg- the Scotland of Karnataka nestled in Western Ghats. On your arrival at Coorg, check into the hotel and then proceed to Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of River Kaveri. Bathing and feeding elephants can be done here. When you’re done put back on your shoes and go for a visit to Kaveri Nisargadhama- a wonderful picnic spot situated by a beautiful bank of River Kaveri. Anegudde Ganapathi temple is at Gokarna in Uttara Kannada district, and it’s one of the seven mukti kshetras in Karnataka. It’s just as important as Kashi or Rameshwaram, because it houses Lord Mahabaleshwara (Lord Shiva), who is believed to have given the original image of Shiva Linga (also called Atmalinga) to King Ravana. When you arrive at Gokarna, check into the hotel. In the evening, go check out the nearest beach for a spectacular sunset before heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

This is one of the few temples where we can see the confluence of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, who are worshipped in the form of lingas. From here, we enter stunning Agumbe Ghat scenery. Located on Tunga river banks, Sringeri is best known for Adi Shankaracharya’s first mutt. The main attraction of Sri Sharadamba Temple and Vidya Shankara Temple are worth a visit.
